Amar Pratap Singh appointed the new Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)

                                               

Amar Pratap Singh appointed the new Director of the Central Bureau of 

Investigation (CBI) for a period of two years .The 58-year-old A P Singh, a 


1974 batch IPS officer from Jharkhand cadre was serving as special director 


in the agency prior to his appointment. Earlier he had also held the post of 


additional Director General in the Border Security Force (BSF).
